A review for '1001 Nights'

Kind remarks for my recently published e-book came today from David Daniels, author of Orchestral Music.

An engrossing retelling of this familiar backstory of The Arabian Nights, entirely suitable as preparation for listening to Rimsky-Korsakov’s celebrated orchestral tone-poem, Sheherazade (an alternative spelling of the protagonists name).

I appreciate Dr Daniels’s appreciation, naturally, and hope you will consider giving Shahrazad’s latest incarnation a kind look yourself.

1001 Nights

My first electronic book is now available:

This book offers a short story retelling of the Shahrazad legend from the classic One Thousand and One Nights (also known as The Arabian Nights). This brief version can be enjoyed when reading in silence, yet lends itself to presentation by live storytellers. It stands on its own, yet also makes a good effect when read as a spoken introduction to an orchestral performance of Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade.

Smashwords makes 1001 Nights available in a variety of formats. Look for it soon in Amazon, Android, Apple and Barnes & Noble stores.

I hope you'll give it a look. The story is priced at the minimum: US$0.99.
